| Unit History
Caballeros del Sol was founded in 1999, to extend the reach and appeal of BCHC in the San Diego area. From our original 10 members we have grown to over 70, with many family memberships.
From the beginning we have been deeply involved in public policy and land use planning, with members joining committees, holding offices, studying issues, and providing input and information to agencies and our elected officials.
We are planning our third Backcountry 101 event, a day of presentations and classes on packing and backcountry horsemanship.
Every year we send a large contingent to Rendezvous - if you have not gone yet, please come along! |
