| Introduction
Caballeros del Sol is a unit of Backcountry Horsemen of California. We are working to create, maintain, and improve multi-use trails throughout San Diego county. Our efforts range from work days, doing physical trail construction, to attending and presenting information at government and land use planning meeting, to educating the community of trail users.
We are governed by a Board of Directors, according to our by-laws, and are affiliated with the state organization - Backcountry Horsemen of California.
Membership is on an annual basis. We welcome anyone interested in promoting and protecting trails and equestrian access to public lands - hikers, bikers, birdwatchers, and of course, horsepeople. We hold meetings monthly, in addition to work parties, educational clinics, rides, and other events.
