Rental Stables - You don't have to own your own horse to enjoy riding in San Diego. Grab some friends and go riding! Bright Valley Farms - Convenient, friendly place with good horses. Lessons also. Run by the Armour family, who, it seems, have taught half the people in San Diego how to ride. Just south of Jamacha Road on Hwy 94 Julian Stables - Ride among oaks and pines on quality horses at this intimate facility. Holidays On Horseback - Riding in Desanso, not too far from I-8. Some gaited horses. Overnight rides with camping and cookouts. (Their web site is tempermental. If you can't get to it call them for information at 619 445-3997.) Sandy's Rental Stable - Ride on the beach! Sandy's can accomodate large groups.
